Presentations and Lesson Plans
Teaching a new generation the benefits - and the responsibilities - of sound financial practices is an important aspect of our community outreach.
That's why our professionals partner with teachers throughout our service area to create valuable, educational and interesting lesson plans that teach the basics of finances.
These programs, which are customized to meet the needs of each classroom, each teacher, include:
- Financial Education: We present classroom programs in modules and workbooks.
- Financial Presentations: We present subjects ranging from budgets and credit cards to renting and car buying.
- Checkbook Management: We give students real checkbooks, registers and covers to learn about this important part of finance.
- Credit Card Responsibility: We help students study credit by exploring the VISA credit card program.
- Career Day Presentations: Our professionals visit schools to talk about financial careers - from accounting to administration.
- Field Day Presentations: We provide tours of our credit union for participating schools.
