Getting information into the hands of today's youth is one of the most challenging tasks we face - so we decided to turn that challenge over to a group of individuals who already speak the language.
And use the technology - from cellphone text messages, to email, to instant messaging.
Say hello to Education First Credit Union's Gen Y Team. Although it's still a work-in-progress, these young people - ranging from high school freshman to college students - have been helping us teach lessons of financial literacy to their peers... using their words, symbols and technology.
It's a new world out there - a world of emerging consumers who need to understand how to handle money responsibly, learn how credit works and get to know the language of loans, credit ratings and debt.

It's a Gen Y World - and we're working on talking their language - and getting out the 411... B4N!
